I did as instructed but after running RT Seven Lite installer size is quite large. Specifically 1:12 GB. I need to be able to do the same with instructions.

And eror (Vlite)

why you do not give a link to the iso you made ? M$ does it ;'] so that should not be illegal .
i search a tiny windows 7 x64 but able to have a tv card , it has a lot of hdrive .
by now i made a vhd with windows and reduced it with unlocker . my vhd is big 11,4 Go but i load it in the 16 Go of ram with grub4dos and firadisk http://diddy.boot-land.net/firadisk/

something being at 5Go installed would pleased me

Because its Microsofts property. We are allowed make changes for personal use, but we are not allowed to make available a customized version as then we are sharing the property of Microsoft.

Plus, I dont think he is going to go customize a windows ISO just for you..

You need to learn how to use the software mentioned in this guide and customize your ISO yourself...

i do not think M$ cares about win reduceds [ untill it will be a big thing ....]
[REMOVED]

so an iso like the one of first post is a good share , rebuilding it is a waste of energy and time .

about iso i want : i ask politely for a release he will make for him or for testing winreducer , topic creator is as good in reducing wi-wi as britny is sexy ;']

Hello and welcome,

This technique has 2 years old ... why don't you give a try to the WinReducer 7.0 software ?

Zuardin has created this method for experience users, unfortunately some of these software are not anymore supported by their own creator ... like RT7-Lite and could cause severe troubles in your installation ...

So, if you haven't try yet WinReducer 7.0, I really encouraged you to use it once to reduce your Windows installation.

But this is your choice my friend ... Wink

I downloaded it before but at first look at it it was a bit daunting. Thats why i went to this method witch i understood most of but it was one part that got me confused. But ill have a go at using Winreducer 7.0. Any good tutorials out there for guidance. Thanks for your replies.

Installation Tutorial Link :

hi thanks for this guide but i got an error when i trying to open win reducer in the last step " unable to find a valid windows "
Note : my current version of windows is windows 7 enterprise sp1
the project i am trying to do is windows 7 professional sp1
i figure that out the problem when i am using Gimagex i got that error if i didn't use it it's okey
is it important to use it ? or how to fix this error?
do i need to use the same windows as current installed?
Thanks in advance

descriptionSlimmingdown windows 7 - Page 2 EmptyRe: Slimmingdown windows 7

Hello,

No you don't need to use the same windows to use WinReducer ...

This error happens if you are trying to use :
- for example, WinReducer 10.0, 8.1 or 8.0 with a Windows 7 ISO : be sure to use WinReducer 7.0 for Windows 7 ISO
- your ISO use an "install.esd" file instead of an 'install. wim" file : it's always better to use an official Microsoft ISO

If you want more help could you please use the dedicated "Bugs" or "Help" forum for your WinReducer Software ... Thank you very much for your understanding ! Smile

Hello,

KrX is right, the hoster has deleted deleted all old pictures because they updated their website database, unfortunately I'm not able to restore those pictures.

I will try to contact zuardin to see if you could do something.

I'm sorry guys for the inconvenient.
