In the last tab I simply pressed "Apply". After the removing process I was offered to make an ISO or WIM file. I selected "ISO" and in a couple of minutes I recieved an error.

I used the preset, but I don't know whether the ISO creation is activated in it.

So ... I've tried your wccf and it works for me ...

Could you please reinstall WinReducer 8.1 from the beginning using the website tutorial installation :
http://www.winreducer.net/wr-100-81-80-and-70-installation.html

Keep me inform how it will work, thank you ... Wink

Could you please try this :

Open "START -> TOOLS -> ISO FILE CREATOR", then choose "Save in an ISO File", use an extracted ISO folder and create an ISO by clicking on "SAVE" button ... Let me know !

Try to change your WinReducer folder to another location like your desktop to see if it's not a rights permissions trouble ...

descriptionBeginners discussion - Page 6 EmptyRe: Beginners discussion

more_horiz
The WR is already placed in the desktop.

By the way, moving WR to an another location didn't affect on the result.

it is possible to to integrate jst update 1 i itry but windreducer dnt integrate it directly goes to remover

Hello,

Yes it's possible but you need to respect some instructions (only if you want to download update 1 by yourself) ... because if you use integrated WinReducer Updates Download tool, you do not have nothing to do because it's automatically done !

--> So if you want to do it manually, you need to put all of Update 1 updates in the folder :
"WORK -> INTEGRATE -> UPDATES -> x64 (or x86) -> Update_1"

--> And for all other updates, you'll have to put them manually in the folder :
"WORK -> INTEGRATE -> UPDATES -> x64 (or x86) -> Updates"

But don't forget that "WinReducer Updates Download tool" is able to automatically download and save them in the correct folder ... then in WinReducer you need to choose the correct folder x64 (or x86) depending on your hardware.

Don't worry, I will create a tutorial in few days about this subject ... Wink

Do you see this :
Beginners discussion - Page 6 Update10

If you do not see this, please look if you choose the correct folder : you need to choose "x64" (or "x86") but NOT "Update_1" folder ! Smile

Oh no i understand i downloaded all the updates so thts y i chose x64 and the update 1 folder so nw u mean i have jst update 1 files in x64 ok got it and thanx

descriptionBeginners discussion - Page 6 EmptyRe: Beginners discussion

To be more precise :

--> All msu updates files need to be in the "x64 (or x86) -> Update_1"

--> in WinReducer, you need to choose "WORK -> INTEGRATE -> UPDATES -> x64 (or x86)"

ISO means that winreducer will unmount your reduced OS into the install.WIM file and make from your extracted iso an iso again

WIM means winreducer will unmount your reduced os into your install.WIM file but not make an ISO

so basicly "save into wim" will save your reduced OS but not making an iso

you cant download it.

just go to the WinReducer Shop :

http://www.winreducer.net/shop.html

select your language, choose the Lifetime VIP Edition

and donate to the WinReducer Project

there you will also find a "tutorial"

Quick question: How to integrate SOFTWARE folder?

descriptionBeginners discussion - Page 6 EmptyRe: Beginners discussion

more_horiz
Hello,

I assume you want to launch your software installation during the windows installation. Am I right ?

In WinReducer, you are able to use 2 different methods, but the simplest way is to use the "OOBE" integration, this is the one I will introduce you below.

So, the procedure is easy, and almost automatic :
- launch EX-81
- mount your windows edition, you want to customize
- go to "SYSTEM" tab
- choose "WinReducer Post Installation" tab
- choose "OOBE" tab
- in this tab, put the left top button to "ON" status

==> if you want to add one software, hit the "Add a file" button and choose your file ... it will be automatically copied in your ISO, and new line in the text field (center of the tab) will be visible (do not modify it otherwise it won't work correctly, at least if it is your first try)  .... repeat this procedure for each files you need to install during Windows installation

==> if you want to add one folder (for example, to install Windows Office), hit the "Add a folder" button and choose the folder path to copy in your ISO, once done a new dialog appears to select to installation file (for example "Setup.exe") to execute during Windows Installation. The folder will be automatically copied in your ISO

Then got to "FINISH" tab and "APPLY" your changes ... launch your Windows Installation, you will be prompt to confirm your software installation just after the first Windows login

If you need additional information, don't not hesitate to ask for it Smile

I wish you to have a nice day !

P.S. : The hardest way, the install your software during Windows Installation, is to use the "OEM" folder ... because you need to create by yourself the entire procedure from A to Z
