EX-81 - v1.8.8.0

hey winter,

i got a question for x86 and 64. when my host os is 32bit winreducer x86 should be used and when it is a 64bit windows x64 winreducer should be used right?

so in the Software folder there should be x86 and x64. but for me (also for winreducer 10) only x86 exists. and under winreducer software installation it shows x86. also the log files says it:

***** 06.07.2016 14:58:12 - SESSION OPENED *****
***** INFO : WinReducer --> EX-81 [v1.5.0.0 (x86)]
***** 06.07.2016 14:58:34 - SESSION CLOSED *****

but my host os is win7 proN x64

Not exactly, because there are 2 different builds ... so, if you want to use x64, you need to download the x64 zip package from the EX-81 website download page. And after the auto download will be available like in the x86 build.

I've done like this in order to reduce :
- the needed installation download time
- the installation size (no need to download all x86 third party software if you are using a WinReducer x64 build)

TIPS : if you don't want to register again the x64 build, just copy/paste your "WinReducerEX81.xml" from the x86 "SOFTWARE" folder to the x64 "SOFTWARE" folder

ah ok, i thought something was odd. it always says x64 but since a couple of builds it switched to x86 so i was just wandering ;P


EDIT: i always use the update funktion via winreducer so i didnt see that there was not a seperate package

Yes, EX-81 will be updated next week : Tuesday 10 January 2017 (with also the January WinReducer Updates Catalog)

And, for the record, the next versions release cadence will increase progressively during January with 1 new version per week  [This will be also the same for EX-80 and EX-70].

At version 1.7.5.0 , i wasn't able to install Visual Redistributable 2015 pacakages because of cleaned up-removed "Windows Firewall Service"(with winsxs expert cleanup). Has it fixed?
