[ANSWERED] Logging and hangups

Hi,

since a few versions of WinReducer EX 8.1 I notice reproducable hangups of WinReducer due to external programs:
1. ImageX /UNMOUNT /COMMIT <Boot_TEMP>
2. ImageX <blablabla> /COMPRESS:Maximum
3. DISM <blablabla> /COMPRESS <blablabla>

Additionally I find 1 entry in the log: "Error including drivers". Well that entry is nice, but I would really like to know what driver and why...

I couldn't find any option to do some logging of what is going on in WinReducer itself as well as the external programs. Am I missing something? The latter are started using an instance of "cmd.exe". This output could be redirected to a file to achieve the logging.

What can I do?

2 - which running operating system are you using ?

I am currently using 1.2.5 of WinReducer EX 8.1. But as I stated this happens since a few versions.
When these problems started I was using Windows 8.1 Pro x64. Currently I am on a Windows 10 Pro x64.

I have to add that the current build of WinReducerEX10 seems to work flawlessly. The EX81 however keeps hanging at the same steps every time.

so it seems you will need to wait till winter updates the removing engine in winreducer81

Oh. I thought WinReducerEX81 would already have that. Thanks for the tip!

But nevertheless some more logging, especially the output of the external applications, would sometimes be helpful. Count that as a wish for one of the next releases.
