[ANSWERED] Setup cannot continue due to corrupted installation file....

Hello.
I'm newbie here and use the Winreducer 1.37
I spent whole week to make ISO of Windows 8.1 Enterprise with latest windows update.
I added windows updates only, no other changes.
I used the Optimize ISO size,  Expert Optimization and all protected features are ON in the Presets screen.
I saved all to the ISO file, not .wim file.
The ISO was created without problems or errors.
I tried to instal it on a virtual machine a and when setup was done ,before restart i get message error "Setup cannot continue due to corrupted installation file."



When I tried again to make new ISO without Expert Optimization and Optimize ISO, then I made BIG ISO file, but instalation on virtual machine was successfull.
Do someone know what is wrong ?

Can you list all the Optimization settings you used?

I cannot post any file, so only text and screenshot of the presets.

I've tried your wccf file, and it worked for me in VMware Player using my Windows 8.1 Pro Update 1 (+ Update 3 integrated by WinReducer with Update Catalog v2014.12.1). I do not have enterprise edition, so i'm not able to try with your edition.

Did you try to download Windows Updates using my Updates Catalog v2014.12.1 ?

OK, so this is not that ... by the way I've updated the WinReducer 8.1 Updates Catalog to v2015.01 ...

So, I think for your wccf, you used too much protect presets (tab) for nothing.

Protect presets are useful if you remove components. In your case, you didn't remove components, so if you want you could try this : do not use all protect presets (only keep "Protect Important files" !) .
Then, test your ISO like that, and keep me in touch. Thanks.

I did use only "Protect Important file" with those presets:


But unfortunately no success.
I still get message error "Setup cannot continue due to corrupted installation file." before finnishing installation. :-(

I wrote it before. When I uncheck "Use EXPERT optimization" and "Optimize ISO file" the instalation is successful.
But the ISO file is over 6 GB.

I'm having the same issue... I was wondering, do both optimizations have to be turned off? I will try just keeping "optimize iso file" on, and report back

In the changelog, I mention this as a known bug :
- "Optimizations - EXPERT - WinSxS Folder Cleanup" : Possible severe workarounds, if you only use it ! (without using other components)

Of course, until I will fix it ... ... But if you find which components is responsible I will have a look at it !
