[ANSWERED] [EX-70 - v1.6.1.0 (x64)] [6.1.7601.17514 (win7sp1_rtm.101119-1850)] Help for customise an AIO version and fix some issues

Hi everyone,

First, a big thank to WinterStorm2050 and all others helpers for this great tool!

I have some few questions, hope someone kindly answer me

My english is not "perfect" (normal, I'm french ), so I hope you could understand me....  

I try to create an AIO up to date customized version of windows 7 x64.

First: is there anyway to integrate updates and others customisations in all version on only one shoot? Or I need to integrate my customisations on each version one by one?

Next: I tried to integrate updates on one version of windows 7 (Pro),  and next mount another version in order to integrate the same updates in this version, but it don't work! All modifications I do in others versions didn't work...  

Also, I tryed to modify the boot screen of WinPE, I selected many of bitmap 1024x768 files (I also tryed with one Boot image I downloaded on WinReducer.Net), but it didn't work

At last, I tryed to use winreduceres wlan backup/restore, but I had some issues too :'( Net Framework 4.5.2 or newer is already installed on my computer)

If someone can try to help me, I'll be gratefull !!!

Hello and welcome,

1 - For the moment, this is not possible to create a customized ISO with several editions in one pass

2 - In order to integrate new updates in a previous updated edition or in a new edition in the same iso, you need to delete the wccf included in your ISO, before mounting your edition. This is a known bug which will be solved soon

3 - What do you mean about the winpe boot screen, have you tried with WinReducer or did it by yourself ? The boot screen pictures are really sensitive to size and color space.

4 - About wlan backup/restore, could you please open a thread in the correct forum, thanks

3 --> Yes, I tryed with WinReducer, and tryed with many .bmp files in 1024x768 (I also try with your boot.bmp file in differents themes. It didn't work anymore :'(
I say "anymore" cause it worked twice on two differents ISO ... O_o  I don't understand why it didn't work now...

4 --> Yes, sorry, if needed, I'll open a new topic on this problem in the right place.

PS: je vois que tu es français ^^ Au cas où mon anglais deviendrait trop limitant pour me faire comprendre (où trop fatiguant pour ceux qui le lisent :p ), je passerai peut-être par le français, avec ton accord bien-sûr! Thank you Winterstorm2050: I removed the .wccf file, and I could apply my update on the others versions of my AIO

I didn't solved my problem of background on WinPE, but it's not very important; I'll try later with an other tool.

[ And for Winreducer Wlan (I know, it isn't the right place :p), it didn't work on 2 computers on Win7, but it worked on another on Win10... So I have my backup! ]

I have this note-pad from RessourceHacker (no source folder in my mount image folder...)


I repeat what's my problem: I can't modify the setup installation of windows 7 screen image (1024x768 .bmp). Any idea? I checked for Nospace in differents paths/folders, for differents .bmp files with the good resolutions.... nothing! But, effectivly, no "Sources" folder in the mount folder. Someone could help me pleeeeeaaaase?
Also, the same problem with integration of a wifi profil... :'(

Ok! I started to rectify some "mistakes" in the readme.pdf, but it appears that my readme.pdf in english is not the same than the Lisez-moi.pdf (it don't have all §). If you have the complet versin in English, it'll be easier for me. If not, I'll figure out

What do you prefer for pointing the mistake in WinReducer's programm? Some screenshots, a .txt file, ...?

so you are searching the Sources folder? The sources folder is a part of the extracted iso, so you can find it here:

WinReducerEX70_x64\WORK\EXTRACT\ExtractedByWinReducer

the folder
WinReducerEX70_x64\WORK\MOUNT

contains your mounted install.wim and boot.wim from the sources folder.

if you are searching sources\ background_cli.bmp and dont find it you probably used in winreducer the component "ISO - Delete Unneeded Files" i the Apply tab

which i got years ago from myitforum, but unfortunately there are no information how big each picture has to be and how much BPP it should be

I prefer .txt but I did'nt change the Lisez-moi.pdf since the beginning just point out wher the new ReadMe.pdf is and give me the change I should do

I have to confess that I set aside all this... not enougth time and others priorities!

It's a shame that all this options don't work in WinReducer. Also, an option "Skip Windows activation" on unattended option woulb be great.
