Hi everyone Smile

I have some questions about how to use OEM post installation: if someone could help me please?

I thought the purpose of this OEM section n WinReducer was to allow software automatic installation during the windows installation.

I tryed many time to use it in that purpose, but nothing never happened Sad

Also, I saw that KB890830 was downloaded in WORK/INTEGRATE/SOFTWARE/x64 (same path that I use for trying automatic software isntallation) ; and it appears that this update (KB890830) isn't installed

What Am i missing? Suspect   Question

Sorry for my english; I hope you could understand me Razz

Thanks,

Kind regards,

WaïRa

Hello,

Yes, the purpose, of the OOBE installation, is to install your software before the Windows 1st login.

So, I assume you want to use the OOBE :
- use "Add files" button to add single executable files
- use "Add Folder" button to add a complete folder (like for MS Office)
==> each time, you will see a new line added in the textbox Wink

Then "Apply" your changes, and everything will be automatically done for you.

If it will not work, just try the new WRSEB version 1.6.10.3 and execute an ISO test without modifying anything else. Then tell me the result, because v1.6.1.0 will not be replaced by v1.7.x.x in the future.

----------------

About KB890830, this is not an update file, but an executable file, so you need to use OOBE to install it during Windows Installation or execute it after Windows installation.

Hi Winterstorm Smile

And thank you for your prompt reply!

But I still confused:
I thought OEM should allow a pre-installation, and OOBE a post-installation of software.

I already used OOBE section for making silent installation of Software (I have to fix issues with UAC who makes this installation not so "silent" Wink ): it works great!

How can I use OOBE in order to install my software before the windows 1st login or during windows installation?

I'll try with WinReducer WRSEB, and tell you my feedback.

Thanks a lot,

C.U. Smile

Hi again Smile

I make a try with Winreducer WRSEB.
Some point about it:
   - In unattended: impossible to select Language and KeyBoard; also, i repeat myself, but it will be great to add an option to skip the aprt where Windows ask to enter the registration key
   - Functionality: all is blank; impossible to modify anything
   - Services : same thing
   - Appearance: changing background of WinPE is working on that version Smile

About my questions, as I want to do a pre-installation of my sofware, I guess I have to found a good tuto in order to use the OEM methode or use unattended method! (if someone have some links, I'll be gratefull rabbit  )

Cause, if I understand well, OOBE installation is using only for Software's post-installation

Thanks and Good Evening!
