[EX-100 - v0.9.11.0] [RS1 Build 14393.0] 64-bit guest operating system are not supported by this host

on Fri 17 Mar 2017 - 23:24
Hi@all

I have a problem with virtual machines after installing W10 using EX100v1.0.0.0.
The problem is, that VMware and VirtualBox are telling me, that a 64-bit guest operating system are not supported by this host.

But its not a problem with my host or my UEFI settings.
It seems to by a problem with my WinReducer settings, or with the differnt WinReducer versions.

When I use EX100v1.0.0.0, with this wccf and w10 1607 x64, it results in the message that a 64-bit guest operating system is not supported.

When I use EX100v0.9.86.0, with this wccf and w10 1607 x64, all works fine and I am able to create 64-bit systems with VMware and VirtualBox

Maybe someone can help me with this.

but why did you use 1.0.0.0 or lower and not the lastest (or even one of the newer) versions?

Thanks for reply.
There was another message, when ignoring the first message and try to run a vm:

VMware Player and Device/Credential Guard are not compatible.
VMware Player can be run after disabling Device/Credential Guard.
Please visit [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] for more details

This leads my to check the gpedit.msc edits, but I think, the problem is caused, because the windows feature Hyper-V is enabled.

Because I can not disable it ( error 0x80073701 ), I will try to disable it before the next installation.

Ok, found it.
The problem was, that the hyper-v feature was enabled while installing, which must be my fault within winreducer settings.
After leaving hyper-v on its default (or removing it), there is no problem left.

Thanks KrX for your support.

Bye
