[SOLVED] [EX-100 - v1.9.10.0] [RS3 Build 16299.15] Codec breaks H.264 and MSE & H.264 Unbena16

the last one "MSR & WebM VP" is also sometimes broken (different conponent, im still searching for it but i think its something under Network)

also when this is broken i cant play any videos on facebook, it says something like "something went wrong"

the component causing it is:

Codec - MPEG2 Video (Decoder)

"Codec - AAC (Decoder)" is also breaking H.264

EDIT: whats odd is that removing the codec h 264 (encoder and decoder) does not create this problem

ok the  problem where "MSR & WebM VP9" is broken is not a winreducer bug. when i install an untouched iso and i try it it works. but when i install my drivers it is broken.

Hello KrX Smile

So I made some researches about this subject ... and what comes out is about the internet browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Opera, ...)  HTML5 implementation.

Just for information, HTML5 is feature to watch audio and video content in streaming websites, such as dailymotion, netflix, youtube ... using an internet browser.

So, as I said the HTML5 implementation is not totally operational in some internet browsers, especially with Edge, Firefox and Opera. Because it requires these local audio and video codecs, and some others, in order to work properly. It seems that the best internet browser to watch streaming content is Chrome, at least for the moment.

But if you need to watch video in streaming websites, there are the codec I recommend to keep in order to avoid troubles :
- "Multimedia - Codec - AAC (Decoder)"
- "Multimedia - Codec - Dolby Digital (Decoder)"
- "Multimedia - Codec - Flac (Decoder)"
- "Multimedia - Codec - H264 (Decoder)"
- "Multimedia - Codec - H265 (Decoder)"
- "Multimedia - Codec - MP3 (Decoder)"
- "Multimedia - Codec - MKV (Container)"
- "Multimedia - Codec - MP4 (Container)"
- "Multimedia - Codec - MPEG2 Video (Decoder)"
- "Multimedia - Codec - Opus (Decoder)"
- "Multimedia - Codec - VP9 (Decoder)"

I wish you to have a nice day !

Smile

I mentioned all necessary codecs because depending on the internet browser you are using it may not work ... for example, with opera you need all A/V codecs in the list to get almost all streaming websites properly working Smile ... the internet browser implementation is evolving very fast at the moment, all company are working hard to integrate all HTML5 codec directly in their products, to avoid using all local A/V codecs.

P.S. : I tested individually Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Opera in their respective newest version Wink
