I've had same problem.
Try to extract Update to new folder instead of updating only .exe

problem-probably recognized 

German translation is not yet translated currently

i translated the .xml till version 1.20 i need to test it and as soon as i did that i will send winterstorm the new file. (maybe today or tomorrow)

so i sent the new translated .xml to winterstorm, it should be available soon

EDIT:

i only tested it with winreducer for win7, if there is any problem with win8.1 let me know
