can't find new file

i am trying to convert an install.esd file to a install.wim file.  i followed the process and the window showed that the process completed and that the file was successfully created, but i can find the new install.wim file anywhere!

help please?

Hello,

It should be in the "WORK" folder ... but always in the same folder of your source file. So if you convert an "install.esd" file in an already extracted ISO folder : just look in the "sources" folder of this extracted ISO folder.

the source folder was C:\$Windows.~BT\Sources  and it was the install.esd file.  i am looking in that same folder right now and do not see any .wim files.

Take care because this file should be encrypted, and this is not supported by "WinReducer ES - Wim Converter". For legal reason, this is not available in "WinReducer ES - Wim Converter".

You need to decrypt it, before using it.

And I'm looking why, Wim Converter is seeing it as created it it is not created
