How do I remove windows defender completely? I don't see that option listed. It was present in Win 8.1 reducer.

I saw that, but IIRC, winreducer 8.1 had options to remove both the defender service, as well as defender itself. In WR10, I only see an option to remove the service. Would the defender files also get removed automatically, if service is removed?

perhaps a renamed to .esd is needed before

That should be OK, because Microsoft changes how Defender is handle in Windows 10. This is why it exists a small difference between Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 ... Wink ... if there are a trouble, please open a bugs thread.

is it possible to slipstream already the latest MS Update (KB3074683) into the RTM ISO?
This is a crucial Update because it fixes so many bugs and has better performance in the 10240 version...

Why didn't they wait a week longer and released it as RTM. I didn't understand the marketing branch and their thinking.

Nice to hear that DISM is compatible with slipstreaming MS Updates into Windows 10.

im currently getting an problem with the unattanded file [spezialize] during installation. when deleting the file i get a loop after going through all steps manually.

im sure i got this problem some time ago but i cant find the thread/post

KrX, I think I wrote this year ago in the Windows 7 forum. If I remember correctly it was a problem with the Autounattended.xml file due to false or missing entries in it...

Or if you changed/reduced the WinSxS and the pending.xml file exist in the WinSxS root folder...

so it doesnt seem to be a problem of the unattanded file or the winsxs cleanup, because i did that and it is still working.

im thinking its one of the services that cause the problem, maybe defender or firewall.

i will do some more tests
