Hello all,

Here we can discuss about necessary Components and /or Files dependencies for all WinReducer Components based on the list I created on the website, which you could find here :

hi winterstorm,

thanks for that nice work.

But i have a question (didnt read all topics at the moment so dont know if you released .99.1 yet)

but if I choose to remove

* Features - Hyper-V

are the following things which are removed automaticly shown in any way to me? like when i click on Remove tab are these things selected or are they just "logged" to remove?

  - "Drivers - Hyper-V - Controller"
    - "Drivers - Hyper-V - Graphic Card"
    - "Drivers - Hyper-V - Keyboard"
    - "Drivers - Hyper-V - Network"
    - "Services - HyperV Services"

Hey KrX,

Yes, WinReducer 8.1 v0.99.1 has been released today, and if you activate "Automatic Removing" preset and remove "Features - Hyper-V" then every depending components mentioned will be removed !
They will be selected once you hit "APPLY" button and proceed to cleanup ...  Wink

Hi Winter, good initiative opening this thread. As usual, few points on 0.99.1:

- I'm raising another issue regarding HomeGroup. I don't think there's a global homegroup removal which will take care of services, control panel, link in explorer... Indeed as I removed the control panel Homegroup I was expecting to see everything linked to homegroup gone, but I was wrong. Any chance to have this please Winter?

- Control Panel Ease of Access shortcut is still present even if chosen to be removed.

- HyperV, I chose to remove it, yet services are still there even using automatic removing.

- I removed Powershell, yet if I select replace cmd by powershell, it's still there.

- UAC disabled by default, is it normal?

- Please check my post in main thread 0.99.1 I added a couple of things.

Cheers
Flo
